Lewis has said that it's coming and those who have contributed to his Patreon get an early peek but this here is going to be relating to my personal experience regarding Power Rangers RPM.
I remember years ago, I was looking forward to the next season. After Jungle Fury which surprisingly was an improvement over Operation Overdrive, I hoped that the next season would surpass that. Yeah. Operation Overdrive kind of killed my interest in Power Rangers for me but Jungle Fury surely brought me back... just for a little. I had no idea but when Toon Disney was rebranded as Disney XD, no Power Rangers shows were there. Instead they ended up on ABC Kids on Saturday mornings or should I say at around 12:30pm to be precise. I saw it and it was different... it was insane and it was awesome. It reminded me a bit of Power Rangers in Space where they took the stuff from Megaranger and made something that is considered one of the best. In this case, they decided to follow the idea of an apocalyptic world and the only safe haven is somewhere in the city. Man vs. machine like the Terminator. Right away, I was hooked and I did see every episode. Almost because most times they don't show it due to sports and that kind of made me upset. When I did finish watching everything, I felt satisfied and enjoyed a great series, if not one of the best.
But now looking back on it and reading up on all the info regarding RPM, I can't help but feel a bit sad. Why? Disney. Disney's the reason because when Bruce Kalish left, they wanted to screw the franchise so they first expunged it from their cable channels and delegated it to ABC Kids on Saturday mornings because they thought that no one would watch it and when it ended, they still had the rights to the show so they aired a 32-episode recut of the original MMPR. I didn't like it. But it didn't matter once Saban bought Power Rangers back from Disney later in 2010 and that's how Samurai came about.
So what are your memories of RPM? How did you feel when Disney screwed the show over and did this? Let me know in the comments.
UPDATE: Here it is: atopthefourthwall.com/history-… it's four parts long.

2024 Birthday Wishlist
With my birthday being a month away, I may as well just keep this short. To tell you the truth, I hardly ever visit deviantART nowadays. Made no better by the fact that it seems deviantART is being less fun to use with all the BS they're doing. So my list is basically just going to be as short as possible. How short? Just read and see. Request #1: This one is pretty obvious as you know. Akira Toriyama passed away at the age of 68 and the entire world mourned his passing. It still hurts to this day how influential he was in terms of animation, gaming, etc. So for this one, it involves a character that was done by Toriyama himself. Crono from Chrono Trigger. He did character artwork for the game btw. And if you are wondering, it's him having achieved something deemed unreal. Crono becoming a Super Saiyan. As if it's obvious. Chrono Trigger was the first RPG I ever played, aside from FFVI. But it was a game that I loved dearly and it was how I knew, aside from DBZ in syndication (Ocean
It's all surreal
So yeah, this all happened yesterday and man I feel like shit. Basically, my grandma on my mom's side passed away. She had been in the hospital for four days but yesterday I found out that she has passed on. She has passed at the age of 82, about 8 days before I turn 38. It's just insane but I'm taking this one day at a time. One day at a time.
Birthday Wishlist for 2023
It's that time of the year again. Unfortunately, I'm not on dA much so I'm leaving this list here for anyone who is interested. Just three this time. Simply three. #1 – It's the year of the bunny so basically, this one has the mother/daughter duo of Fujiko Mine and her daughter Riko. They are dressed as cafe bunny maids who are undercover mostly to find some rich scumbag they can hunt down. But the two know that there's another reason, one that finds Riko irritated. Ref for Fujiko Mine: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/lupin/images/9/93/Fujiko_Part6.png/revision/latest?cb=20210907123443 Ref for Riko Mine: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/hidannoaria/images/7/78/Hidan_no_Aria_Volume_3_Cover.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20151110081557 #2 – And here's the follow up. Fujiko as well as Sci-Twi dressed as cafe bunny maids comforting a certain blossoming stardust, Roy. Is being loved and comforted. On the left is Fujiko who right now is hugging the sod and his head is right on her upper
So yeah...
For anyone wondering, I haven't been visiting deviantART in quite some time. Why? Because dA pretty much has went downhill ever since Eclipse dropped. Considering that these guys decided to replace something that is timeless for this, pretty much proves that they were in trouble financially. So yeah, you also wonder if there's like no birthday wishlist? This year, I want to give it a rest. Besides, I want to commission one or two people so that way I can get my birthday gift. Plus I want to help artists. A win/win. There are two people that I enjoy commissioning: Hanifanims and jmkplover. So yeah, I hope to get in touch with them soon whenever possible. And besides, helping artists out is the best choice. Plus I prefer to pay in cash, NOT exposure. I am a bit congested too and that sucks. So I need rest first.

Well I finally saw all four parts and... Yeah, this season is a great one, despite all of the behind the scenes mumbo jumbo. And Lewis has brought up a good point, shows like Power Rangers can do serious and mature things even when it's made for kids. Gravity Falls did it, Adventure Time did it, Steven Universe did it, hell even MLP did it. It just shows you that kids' shows can be on the same level as the shows you would see on HBO, Showtime, FX, AMC, Starz and other cable networks.
Now comes Samurai, as well as the start of the Neo Saban era.
